11/5/2023 0 Comments Drop a bass tunerCheck that the intonation of your bass is good all over the neck (or at the very least the region you play in). Also, check that your bass can play in whatever tuning you’re using. Remember, you need heavier strings for lower notes and lighter ones for higher notes. Just don’t over tighten your strings and break them. Try whatever bass tuning you can dream up. Sometimes experimenting can yield interesting results. There are no rules to tell you how to tune a bass. You might tune down a half- or whole-step though. Altered 6-String Bass TuningsĪgain, you have quite a range of notes with a six string bass. If you find the low B too low for your taste, you might like this tuning. One of my favorite tunings is the standard high C tuning tuned a whole step down. You might tune the standard tunings down a half- or whole-step. Tunings similar to the 4-string altered tunings exist for 5-string basses. From there you might even drop the B to an A or tune them all down a half-step. This will preserve all your scale and arpeggio fingerings.Īnother common approach is to tune a 4-string like the four low strings of a 5-string bass B E A D. Sometimes you can detune all your strings a half-step or a whole-step. You can “drop” the E-string to an Eb, D, Db or even a C. Since the 4-string bass has the smallest range of notes (nothing wrong with that), it gets tuned differently most often. In the StudyBass tools section, you can view fretboard diagrams of scales and chords/arpeggios for any tuning. A different tuning can help you to play notes you might not have otherwise been able to play. So the bassist might need to match the guitarist’s tuning to get the proper range of notes.Ĭhanging the tuning can cause all the scale and arpeggio fingerings to change. This is due to the fact that sending video via MMS has always been an issue, and the video being in slow-motion through Apple’s systems is only going to complicate things further.Īdditionally, it may also be a software or hardware issue. If you are trying to send iPhone videos to an Android device via MMS, you’re likely to experience issues. Of course, when it comes to recording video, ensure that there are no hardware or software issues causing you problems. However, if you are having issues actually recording a slow-motion video, I’ll try and cover a few solutions as well. Below, I’m going to cover some ideas if you are having issues sending a slow-motion video. When it comes to Slow-Motion video, it really depends on what you are trying to do. I’ve done my best to organize solutions from easiest to hardest to accomplish, so be sure to go over the entire list before trying any potential solutions. I’m also going to go over a few quick reasons users may have issues in the first place. Whether you have a technical issue with iPhone slow-motion video not working on Android, or, as another example, if you have issues with iPhone slow-motion video not working on PC, I’m going to take a look at several solutions that may help you with your problem. Taking a closer look, I’m going to explore some solution if users are having issues with slow-motion video on their iPhone. However, if you’re having issues with it, then it’s not so useful. For many, a slow-motion camera can be crucial: whether you’re taking cool action shots that you want to share to social media, or you just want to catch particular details in a video, using Slo-Mo with an iPhone camera can certainly create some rather engaging shots. Having issues with iPhone slow-motion video not working? Whether it’s because of the Camera app itself, or you’re having issues sharing videos, a solution is available. 11/5/2023 0 Comments Hypnogram ai![]() Therefore, we see the macrostructure of our sleep, whereas the microstructure can be seen on other types of recordings, for example, on EEG (electroencephalogram), which clearly shows even the quickest brain waves. The reason behind it is that a hypnogram records activity every 30 seconds. When you look at a hypnogram, you’ll see a not too detailed sleep presentation. It’s used both, for research and for diagnostics in medicine. What is a hypnogram and how does it work? ExplainedĪ hypnogram is one of the ways in which sleep is recorded in the study of sleep (polysomnography). Hypnograms can show all sleep stages with waking periods, and we can draw some conclusions about sleep quality, as well as monitor sleep onset and total sleep time. Hypnograms can be used in sleep research as well as in sleep medicine, for patients who may have a sleep disorder. It is useful when a rough image is needed so that researchers can easily visualize what someone’s sleep looks like and compare it to that of other people. Just like QLED TVs, QD-OLED sets start with a blue light source and use quantum-dot material to produce red and green light. But because they are OLEDs, the light source in this case is each individual pixel.īecause these TVs don’t use color filters in front of the light source, QD-OLED TVs have the potential to reach higher peak brightness levels without losing any contrast. OLED (and QD-OLED): Which Technology Is Right for You?") (For a more detailed explanation of these technologies, see " QLED vs. QD-OLED TVs, from Samsung and Sony, represent a hybrid approach that marries the advantages of traditional OLED TVs-high contrast, deep blacks, and unlimited viewing angles-with the higher peak brightness and more vibrant colors you often get with QLED TVs. And that can also help boost a TV’s HDR performance, which is discussed in more detail below.Ĭombine all this and Mini LED sets come closer to performing like OLEDs, while retaining some traditional benefits of LCDs, such as better brightness and a wider choice of brands and screen sizes.īut OLED TVs are also getting some newer technology, called "QD-OLED," where the first two letters stand for quantum dots, which up to now have been used only in LCD-based sets. Mini LEDs can increase the dynamic range of the TV, the difference between the brightest whites and deepest blacks the screen can show. And the zones can be controlled more precisely. These are divided into dimmable zones, and because the LEDs are so small, there can be a lot of them-say, a thousand zones, instead of the dozens found in even the best LCD sets up until now. In fact, these sets can boast thousands of Mini LEDs behind the LCD panel. You can see this new backlight technology in TVs from LG, Samsung, TCL, and other brands.īy shrinking the size of the LEDs in the backlight, companies can pack more of them together into the same area. Now, a newer development in LCD/LED TV technology, called Mini LEDs, is taking local dimming one step further. With full-array backlights and local dimming, dark areas look darker, and you’re less likely to see halos around bright objects on a dark background. These improvements address a shortfall of LCD TVs, which is that their black tones often look grayish rather than truly black. That design is combined with a feature called local dimming, where the LEDs are divided into zones that can be illuminated or darkened separately. Another reason for the improvement is the rollout of full-array LED backlights, where LEDs are arranged across the entire back of the panel, rather than just along the edges of the screen. More TVs, dubbed " QLED TVs," use quantum dots for an expanded range of colors. LCD TVs keep improving. While OLED TVs still top our ratings, the best LCD TVs get better every year, edging closer to OLED TV-like performance. CR members can get test reports and complete details on more than 300 sets in our TV ratings.Ĭonsumer Reports also has advice on streaming media players, soundbar speakers, and antennas, along with ratings of internet and cable TV services. Once you know which type of TV you want, you can focus on getting the right size screen, and on a few other important features and performance characteristics. (More on that below.) Also, as we note below, some of the very best LCD sets now rival OLED TVs for performance (and price), and they are capable of even greater brightness. These days, you now have a choice between two OLED TV technologies. Lastly, Consumer Reports members may notice that OLED TVs tend to dominate our ratings of larger TVs. However, not all televisions deliver good HDR performance, and the ones that do better tend to cost more. Many sets feature high dynamic range, or HDR, which promises brighter, more dynamic images and more vivid, lifelike colors. ![]() So one question you’ll face if you’re buying a larger TV is whether it’s time to move to one of these newer 8K UHD TVs or stick with a regular 4K set. Go shopping and you’ll see that the majority of sets are now Ultra High Definition (UHD), or 4K, TVs, and there’s even a growing number of 8K TVs, which promise greater picture detail than HD TVs offer, along with improved contrast and color. If you haven’t been TV shopping lately, you’ll likely find that the process has become a bit more complex in the past few years, mainly because of the proliferation of new features and choices. ![]() The real-life reunion between the princess and Townsend occurred at Kensington Palace over lunch in the summer of 1992. NB, I wrote I was drilling holes "as small as 0.4mm". Seems someone has review the 'official' dremel one vs the All - Thanks for the replies so far. I'd order that proxxon stand right now if I didn't have to buy a new tool to use it with. Wish they would make stands 'vender independant'. Any possibility of drilling 'other things', proxxon all the way. So I guess, if yo're doing PCB's only, the megaUK one might have the edge. Sure its less versatile - I'm tinking tahts for PCB's/flat pieces only - but the proxxon's vice and base is just gold. As for the stands, whilst the megaUK one looks basic, the dual pillars should stop any wandering travel. Given the two links, the proxxon rotary tool looks to me to be better than the dremel tool, it seems to be geared more for precision hobby work than dremels 'look how many attachments we have' approach. or losely holding the PCB down so a HSS can catch it and pull it centre - neither option is pleasant, professional or good for the bits. I've got quite good at aiming '2'o'clock' of the drill centre. ![]() For most apps that wouldn't be much of an issue, but for PCB holes < 0.8mm it snaps carbide bits quite often, and can mean off-centre holes when drill with a HSS. It has slight play during the travel which I cannot seem to get rid off no matter how much tweaking I do. **broken link removed** (jsut the stand). This was a poor decision on my part as I jsut went for the 'slightly' cheaper one avaliable: What DID annoy me was the relatively cheap drill stand I got for it. For the price I got it, £50 ex display, it was worth it, and hasn't failed me. It has no play on the collet/chuck, and the variable speed is only used for 'fast' for PCB carbide bits, and 'not so fast' for everything else. As far as the dremel tool itself goes, I haven't had trouble with mine (Dremel 300.). 11/4/2023 0 Comments Lego jurassic park ps4![]() Hold the Triangle button on PlayStation systems / hold the Y button on Xbox systems / hold the X button on Nintendo systems to bring up the character menu.Īnswer: Go to the open world hub to access the grey Vehicle Call-In Points.
